Cooking up Change
Students transforming the future of school food
On Jan. 19, the first place school lunch designed by high school culinary students for the Cooking up Change healthy cooking contest is being served to more than 20,000 students in high schools across Chicago! The students of Chicago Vocational Career Academy won top honors with this healthy, great-tasting lunch of oven-fried chicken with sweet potato salad and leafy greens.
