Team Spotlight: Richards Career Academy

This year’s defending champs are the student chefs of Richards Career Academy, who won first place in Cooking up Change 2008 with a tasty, healthy meal inspired by Hispanic Heritage Month. The all-star chefs traveled to Washington, DC to prepare their meal with Obama family chef Sam Kass at a briefing on school food in May 2008, the same day it was served in the House of Representatives cafeteria and to more than 40,000 students nationwide!
