SCA Tissue is one of the three largest producers of away-from-home tissue products in North America. Our parent company, SCA, is a $13 billion international paper company that employs some 53,000 people in 50 countries.

SCA Tissue is the first American sanitary paper manufacturer with processes meeting rigorous Environmental ChoiceTM Standards for the production of towel, tissue and napkin products. Our manufacturing facilities and products meet strict requirements in resource consumption, energy consumption, effluent discharge, and net solid waste.

SCA Tissue’s market-driven solutions include napkins, toweling, bath and facial tissue, specialty wipers, and innovative dispenser and soap systems. Our impressively high fill rates and on-time delivery are truly exceptional within the industry and we take environmental stewardship to heart:

  • Nearly all of our products manufactured from internally produced base paper are 100 percent recycled.
  • We annually recycle more than 700,000 tons of paper. Of this, 200,000 tons consist of post-consumer recyclables.
  • We are process and elemental chlorine free.
  • We have implemented a “mill of origin” program to reduce the number of miles our products travel, resulting in substantial savings of diesel fuel.
