Spread the word about PE in Chicago!

Quality, daily physical education (PE) in Chicago Public Schools (CPS) is critical to the future of our city's children. On October 23rd, the CPS Board of Education will examine the issue of PE in Chicago’s schools. This is an opportunity for you to raise your voice to help make physical activity and physical education priorities for Chicago schools. We are urging the Board of Education to establish the goal of providing all CPS students with access to high-quality daily PE with a focus on promoting lifelong health.

One way you can help support PE for all CPS students is by joining the conversation through social media! Share the link to our online PE petition (http://bit.ly/Ind-Support-PE) via your Facebook and Twitter accounts and encourage your friends and followers to do the same.

We also encourage you to send Twitter and Facebook messages to Chicago Public Schools to send the message that quality, daily PE matters. Be sure to tag the CPS Facebook page on your wall and mention @ChiPubSchools in tweets. We have provided some sample text below, but feel free to make it your own!
