Welcome School Nurses! HSC at the NASN Conference in Chicago

Here at HSC, we love school nurses! We love hearing about the remarkable things that school nurses are doing to promote healthy eating, physical activity and environmental health at school, about the many school nurses who are raising their voices to advocate for policy changes on school health issues, and the ways that school nurses learn from each other and continue to pioneer new ground in an ever-expanding field. That's why we are so thrilled this week to participate in the 42nd Annual National Association of School Nurses (NASN) conference here in Chicago.

HSC staff and alums from our School Nurse Leadership Training program are presenting at a number of sessions about their experiences with school health and wellness and about the important role that school nurses can play in advocating for policy that supports kids' health at school.

Stay posted for more updates from the NASN conference and be sure to check out HSC's School Nurse Resource Center online.
