Celebrating Healthy Schools Campaign
Healthy Schools Campaign (HSC) is on a mission to create healthier school environments for children, and we have made significant progress in our work at the intersection of health, education, sustainability and equity. Please join us to celebrate this work and hear what’s next at Change for Good 2024.
HSC advocates at the local, state and national levels for policies that support health and learning, including nutritious school food, physical activity, comprehensive mental and physical health services, green schoolyards, engagement with nature and clean air at school. Our work benefits all students and focuses on BIPOC students and historically under-invested communities.
This year, we have accomplished so much. From designing new Space to Grow schoolyards in Chicago and convening a citywide effort to support Green Infrastructure; to seeing states make major progress to support comprehensive school health services; to bringing Healthy Green Schools & Colleges, our national certification standard for healthy and sustainable school facilities management, to Chicago Public Schools; to the elevation of parent voices and priorities in all aspects of our work.
Can’t attend but want to support this important work?
