Lunch Menu

Cajun Chicken Lettuce Wrap
Antibiotic-free chicken drumsticks, brown rice, black beans, lettuce and cheddar cheese seasoned with Cajun spice and lime juice.

Roasted Corn Relish
Local corn, sweet green peppers, sliced jalapeƱos and red onions seasoned with cilantro and lime juice.

Deconstructed Peach and Yogurt Pizza
Baked pizza crust served with simmered peaches seasoned with cinnamon and nutmeg and topped with a spoonful of vanilla yogurt.


Transportation

Shuttle Service

To sign up for transportation to and from Washington High School, email Halsey Ward with your name and email address by Friday, Feb. 12. Shuttles will depart from the Healthy Schools Campaign office (175 N. Franklin St., Chicago) to Washington High School. The first bus will leave promptly at 11 a.m. The second bus will leave promptly at 11:15 a.m. The buses will depart Washington High School for the Healthy Schools Campaign office at 1:30 p.m.

On-Site Parking

There will be limited parking available on site at Washington High School. If you plan to drive to Washington High School, please park on the south side of 114th Street (same side of the street as the school).

School Entrance

When you arrive at Washington High School, please enter the school through Entrance 19, located at the northwest corner of the school building, near the intersection of 114th St. and Avenue O. Healthy Schools Campaign staff will be on hand to direct you.
