Complementary Roles of School and Community Providers

To support the school health ecosystem and strengthen collaboration for student well-being,  Healthy Schools Campaign developed a brief on the complementary roles of school-employed providers and community-based providers who deliver services to students in school settings. 

Funding for school-employed and community-based healthcare providers is often separate and distinct, yet collaboration is integral to student success and well-being. This brief highlights how maximizing school Medicaid can benefit and sustain both school and community providers.
