Michigan recently expanded its school-based Medicaid program to the general education setting through the “free care” policy reversal.  This presentation will explore how this expansion is handled in the Medicaid cost based reporting and reimbursement. Specifically, this session will discuss what costs are being reported and the application of RMTS and eligibility rates to those costs between SBS and General Education. Impact on billing, including transportation will also be discussed.
