Hobbies: If I’m not playing video games, you can find me riding my bike! My personal goal is to experience as many bike trails as Illinois has to offer. I try to bring my family and friends with me when I go riding because sometimes the company is the best part of the journey.
Who are you?
I am the Communications Manager at HSC. As a member of the communications team, my goal is to support the organization through project management and content creation. I am responsible for HSC’s website updates, email campaigns, blog posts, digital reports, event materials and social media.
What makes your job great?
I believe the best part of any job is working with passionate people. I am lucky to be surrounded by so many caring individuals who are passionate about supporting and uplifting marginalized communities.
When did you come to Healthy Schools Campaign?
I started my journey with HSC in August 2021. Before coming to HSC, I worked in communications for Chicago-based nonprofits.
Why did you join Healthy Schools Campaign?
The reason I joined HSC was because I resonated with the organization’s mission and commitment towards social justice.
Where does your motivation come from?
I believe we all have the ability to make a difference in the lives of others. Being able to use my gifts to further HSC’s mission to support families and communities is something that I am very grateful for.
